Just wondering if PowerPivot can connect to a WSUS instance so I can display the dashboard within WSUS in a more meaningful way.

has anyone tried this yet? As I think WSUS has a cut down SQL database behind it

Thought I would answer my own question (just incase anyone ever needs to know). Simply put no, PowerPivot cannot access the database behind WSUS. The update services are not constructed in a way that PowerPivot can understand, or so Microsoft tell me
