Source code - Force PowerPivot Refresh

This project contains an c# utility class (CustomDataRefreshUtils) to refresh a PowerPivot file in SharePoint 2010.

SharePoint 2010 doesn't allow schedule PowerPivot refreshes of less than 1 day, but with this utility you could refresh PowerPivot files on demand.

To compile the CustomDataRefreshUtils class you have to add to your project the "Microsoft.AnalysisServices.SharePoint.Integration.DLL" assembly file that is in "C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server100SDKAssemblies" folder.

Previously It's necesary that you register a schedule from your PowerPivot file.
