Video - Using DAX to count what's not there #msbi #powerpivot

I just love using SQL, but I love using MDX and DAX even more. The OLAP languages are just naturally geared toward analyzing data in concise and elegant ways.

But in any of these languages it's far more natural to count what's in the database than what's not in it. I posted a video lesson on msbiacademy.com showing how to use DAX in a tabular model to discover what activities have not occurred.
