Here's a basic question. I have an Excel spreadsheet with a connection to a PowerPivot SQL Server data connection. I have about a dozen tables in the PP connection. How do I ADD another table to my PP connection?

In PowerPivot window go to Design tab then click on "Existing Connections" button, select your connection to SQL Server and click "Open".

Thanks Admin. That did the trick. Got to know the menus quite well looking for the answer. I'm slowly becoming a PowerPivot user. Looks like a great way to test cube design using an independent approach.

Mel,

On the top left PowerPivot window corner there is also a small icone with arrow down. Click on it and choose "Switch to Advanced Mode". This will show you another tab where you can define perspectives and more properties for tables (mostly for PowerViewer".
